The Organic Agriculture Committee of the Valencian Community (CAECV) has been nominated for the Eco & Organic Retail Awards in the category of Best Marketing Campaign for the promotion of organic products.
The awards were announced last February by Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia, a professional meeting point for the organic sector, and Bio Eco Actual, a communication medium serving consumers, producers, distributors and retailers of organic production.
The objective of these awards, in its category of best marketing campaign for the promotion of organic products, is to recognize and reward the importance of both companies dedicated to the retail sector and entities that promote the consumption of organic products in Spain and Portugal.
The jury for the awards is made up of experts from the organic sector at the retail level and from sector organizations and the winners will be selected from among the nominees chosen by popular vote.
Ecologízate y Ecologízame: promotion campaigns of the CAECV nominated
In June 2020, the CAECV launched the ‘Ecologízate: it’s good and it’s better’ campaign, whose objective was to value the work of certified operators and seek growth in the sector, highlighting aspects such as sustainability, quality, health, consumption and marketing of organic products.
With the implementation of the initiative, the CAECV sought to stimulate the demand for organic products from the hand of consumers.
In March 2022, the CAECV launched the second campaign presented to the Eco & Organic Retail Awards. It’s about ‘Ecologízame: it’s good, and it’s better‘. On this occasion, it was the dishes and recipes that spoke to consumers and asked them to make them organic, expanding the current consumption niche, extending it to the entire population and normalizing the consumption of organic products.
In short, these are two promotional campaigns that have sought to expand the current consumption niche of organic products and extend them to the entire population.
The two campaigns nominated for the awards are in line with the axes and actions of the II Valencian Plan for Agroecological Transition (2021 – 2025) launched by the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, Climate Emergency and Ecological Transition.
It must be remembered that this second plan includes, among its five lines of action, actions aimed at launching clear and concise advertising campaigns on the consumption of organic products.
The awards ceremony will take place in the context of the fourth edition of the Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia fair, which will be held at IFEMA Madrid on June 7 and 8.
